I was a piddling wary of trying this recipe, after reading all the other reviews. Just I tried it anyway crusade my fiance and I love mac and cheese, this recipe turned out nifty it wasn't at all clumpy , to dry or annihilation else that I read on here. The only changes I fabricated were I added 4 cups of mozzarella and cheddar (2cups of each) and broiled it for 50 minutes (covered the beginning 20) I also stirred it a couple times. Cheers and then much for this recipe I will definitely be making this again..

This is really skilful onetime-school macaroni, the type that basically keeps its shape when you serve it - exactly what I was looking for. I only added a few things: I stirred i/4 tsp. creole seasoning and about 1/8 tsp. cayenne along with the salt & pepper in the milk mixture. I used a little more colby-jack cheese than noted, and reserved a little scattering to height the macaroni before going into the oven. Subsequently baking for 30 minutes, I topped the macaroni with buttered Italian-style bread crumbs (most a loving cup of crumbs and ii Tbsp. melted butter) and baked the final 10 minutes. Zippier than average macaroni, merely yet recognizable and very comforting. Perfect!

Excellent recipe! This one is very like to the one I had lost. I added more than cheese (LOTS of cheese - mozzerella and cheddar and colby), and topped with breadcrumbs (something I used to do). I propose to apply the large elbow noodles, every bit they "hold" the cheese better than the small ones.
01/11/2003
I whipped together two eggs, added about a 1/3 cup seaoned breadcrumbs to the egg mixture, and and so poured it atop the pasta. So i added the cheeses (variety) to 1 tin can of evaporated milk that i let simmer. Add seasonings to the cheese mixture and when bubbly pour over pasta. To arrive a consummate meal, i steamed some broccoli florets, carrots, and cauliflower and added it to the pasta before pouring the cheese mixture in. Sprinkle the top with some more breadcrumbs and broil. It was DELISH!

Don't pour the melted butter into the egg mixture without letting it cool slightly first. Pouring any hot liquid into egg or egg mixture should ever exist done carefully, by letting it absurd slightly first and then past mixing it in vigourously to avoid letting any of the egg set. This macaroni definitely tastes fifty-fifty better leftover and reheated.

The people I served it likewise absolutly loved it!! I thought it was way to "watery". I would cut back on the milk.
08/07/2011
My father makes a Mac n Cheese like to this but I could never make information technology come up out right. Afterwards reading this I fabricated my own niggling twists to information technology and it comes out PERFECTLY cheesy throughout and full of season. Later I boil the noodles I add butter, common salt and pepper them to gustatory modality. So I layer them like I practice a lasagna. Noodles, cheese, noodles, cheese finishing with cheese on top. Then I follow the direction with the one egg and milk BUT I add melted butter to the mix of milk and egg then I cascade over the layers just until it comes to the top layer and bake in oven at 350 until its starting to brown on acme. The superlative comes out a niggling crunchy and everything else is CHEESY!!

My mom reccently started making me cook, but so i'll know what to practise when i become off on my own, and not only has this sight been my favorite, but this recipe. Not only is it pretty simple, it'southward soooooo tasty, peculiarly if you substitute the cheddar cheese with velveeta. yumm.
10/23/2011
I was a little leary of this recipe based on the other reviews. However, I needed a simple mac and cheese recipes. I took all the reviews into account and made some adjustments when I fabricated this mac and cheese. Here are my changes: I used 22 oz of macaroni, one/ii stick of butter, ii cups of mozzerella cheese and 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese. I added common salt and pepper to the milk, butter, and egg mixture. I did not mix the cheese with the mixture, merely layered the cheese, alternating with the macaroni. And then I poured the liquid mixture on top and laid a final layer of cheese. I covered it with aluminum foil and broiled for 30 minutes. And then I removed the foil and baked for some other 20 minutes. The dish turned out slap-up!
02/02/2011
I used whole wheat pasta and it was really good that fashion. This needs to exist covered for 1st office of baking otherwise noodles get crunchy on superlative.
06/19/2009
Cook the macaroni noodles as directed. Estrus milk, add cheese and mix til melted. And so cool about 1/2 loving cup mixture and add together to eggs. This prevents curdling. Return egg mixture to milk/cheese and mix well with macaroni, so place in prepared dish to bake.
01/26/2011
Dandy basic recipe to personalize. The kickoff time I made it, I followed the exact recipe, merely added Italian breadcrumbs on peak towards the end. It was okay that fashion, but better as leftovers reheated. The terminal time I made it, the only changes I made were 1 cup of milk instead of ii, and A LOT more cheese. I just added more until I thought it looked right, probably 3 times as much cheese every bit the recipe calls for. I used Cheddar but also added Colby Jack and Mozzarella. Later on about 25 minutes in the oven, I stirred, then sprinkled the Italian breadcrumbs on top and cooked about 5 more minutes. So much better this way! The husband loves it, and then practice I!

This is just similar my grandmother use to make when I was immature and I am 64yrs quondam. She would layer the macroni and sliced cheddar cheese, ending with cheese and then pour the milk and egg that had been whisked together over the top. I retrieve she covered it for the most function while information technology was baking. Years ago they didn't swallow actually seasoned food similar nosotros do today, certainly not spicey food. This is an "quondam style" mac and cheese, and I only loved it., thank you so much for posting this recipe.
11/18/2011
This is a great base recipe. Nevertheless, like a lot of other reviewers I inverse it upward a little. I've made it on several occasion and it has never been dry or too crispy. I utilize about 4 c cheese and commonly mix precipitous cheddar with asiago. I also chop half an onion and saute it earlier adding information technology to the mac and cheese mixture. Superlative with bread or cracker crumbs and this is admittedly amazing. Sometimes I add a fiddling cayenne pepper and garlic pulverization. At my house a dish can never have besides much cheese, onion, or garlic! ^_^
09/12/2010
This is a very easy recipes and everyone in my family - even the picky eaters loved it. I did make one change though. I layered the macaroni and cheese so the cheese would be evenly distributed throughout. Also a trick that my grandmother showed me - I added a pinch of blistering soda to the milk mixture and so the milk would not curdle while baking.
01/26/2013
GREAT RECIPE! After looking at all of the mac & cheese recipes on hither, I decided this was the one I wanted to try because of the few ingredients. I also read the reviews and used some of the tips. I did utilise 2 eggs (good idea), 4 tbs butter (too much for me) and bread crumbs (not measured...simply eyeballed). I too used shredded sharp cheddar and colby jack/cheddar mix. I prepared it exactly as the recipe stated. It was great!! So glad someone posted information technology. OH! I also sprinkled cheese on tiptop with 15 minutes left in the time. So like shooting fish in a barrel to make...and I volition be making it over again and again!!
11/01/2010
Quick, simple, succulent.....made a few adjustments however....added a 2nd egg...and of course more cheese:)
ten/07/2010
This is a great recipe, but you need to utilise 2 eggs. I have been using 1 similiar to this. I used ii cups of uncooked macaroni and slightly less than 2 cups of milk, but you need 2 eggs to go on information technology from existence too watery.
12/28/2009
I am so glad i found this recipe! It IS just similar my Grandmom'southward!! I beloved information technology!! I used a whole lb of elbows. Only added a little extra milk, 4 cups of chesse, three tbs of butter merely simply the one egg. Besides added extra spices-paprika and garlic powder--soooo adept! Other than that I made it exactly as written.
eleven/xxx/2010
I made this for Thanksgiving and information technology was awesome. I added some onions and a pinch of garlic to mine.
11/28/2008
For those looking for super cheesy creamy Mac Due north cheese - this is not information technology. This is the down home baked Mac N cheese with a crunchy tiptop and is SO GOOD. I've been trying to imitate a passed relatives Mac Northward cheese for years - and this is information technology! I also did layers and the pour the milk mixture over the entire thing. Covered with foil for thirty min. I quadrupled the batch for Thanksgiving and there was nix left! Best condolement Mac N Cheese recipe yet!
12/07/2005
Fabricated this for Thanksgiving. I followed directions only I think next time I make information technology I volition mix the hot macaroni with the cheese before adding the liquid mixed because the cheese all clumped and was not even throughout the dish. Also the top of the dish was difficult then I call up it needs to be covered while cooking. Information technology also needed alot more cheese than the recipe asked for. In all with the modficiations I suggested I think it is a great dish.
09/17/2006
I found this to exist very banal and had to add more cheese after I removed it from the oven. The top and sides too ended up a bit too crunchy.
02/27/2009
This was my starting time time making baked mac n' cheese and this receipe was great. I did add the butter to the milk and eggs and layered in the cheese with the mixture on superlative as another people recommended. I also topped with the bread crumbs and it came out delicious.
11/eleven/2011
Really soupy. Baked longer than suggested.
08/nineteen/2008
Very good. It was creamy with a crunchy summit. I baked it for 30 minutes with foil on top, then twenty minutes without. I also kept the cheese out of the milk mixture. I made layers: macaroni, salt and pepper, cheese. Later three layers, I poured the milk and egg mixture overall.
xi/30/2002
I really enjoyed this recipe & so did my family. Before I made this I read some of the reviews that said this needs to be stirred halfway through so I did that & I also noticed that some of you said that it ends up tasting a footling bland so instead of bread crumbs I grated up some garlic texas toast & sprinkled that on top. Information technology was Really good. I also used ane/2 cheddar & 1/two colby jack cheese. My picky husband liked it so I know information technology's good =)
05/thirty/2010
Wonderful and just what I was looking for. I followed directions except I mixed everything in a bowl before pouring in the goulash. I as well added, for personal preference, some dry out mustard and grated nutmeg. My new favorite and then easy. No more white sauce recipes for me!!
11/12/2002
This recipe was a hit at my firm. To conform a trivial, I utilise ii cups of macaroni, and and then for the cheese I utilise a combination of sharp cheddar (1 c), monterrey jack (i c) and asiago (1/2c). The asiago gives it a little boot. It could use some a little spicing up, but overall a very good recipe. Thanks Meredith!
11/29/2011
Followed recipe exactly. My kids (who eat anything) picked at it and wouldn't finish half a plate.
04/02/2003
A very skilful homestyle mac and cheese recipe. I added some extra cheeses (shredded monteray jack, parmesan) and it was swell. I as well sprinkled some plain bread crumbs on top before cooking. Very yummy. I'd make it again. Also skilful if you have a bunch of different cheeses laying around that you want to use up.
10/12/2002
This was very like shooting fish in a barrel to make and too cooked upwardly very nicely only was on the bland side. Will make a over again merely volition effort expertmenting with seasonings to spice information technology up a scrap.
09/04/2006
Used 3 cups of HelluvaGood Xanthous Cheddar Cheese. It turned out clumpy not flossy. Best suggest heat milk and cheese together to create a sauce- mayhap it would come out ameliorate.
01/xi/2011
encompass the first 15 mins
12/21/2010
This recipe is very bland and needs more than cheese but it is okay if you lot add tonys and its better towawrds the heart of the dish
10/16/2007
This macaroni is just like what my grandmother used to make. It is Non supposed to be creamy and then if you're looking for flossy this is Not the recipe yous desire. Brand sure you season with table salt and pepper. I always apply ziti because that's what my grandmother used. Good memories!
11/29/2006
This was incredibly simple to make and very creamy.
10/18/2009
Curdled? No.......it is the eggs that brings and binds this recipe together. I take been searching for a quick recipe that does non involve making a roux with flour and came across this one. It is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I added about 1/4 cup minced onion and about 1/iv tsp garlic powder. Loved it!!
01/22/2010
This was expert but turned out like niggling melted cheese curds that did not stick to the macaroni at all. Then the texture was not that peachy. I had added extra butter and cheese like reviews said simply if I brand it again I will not do extra butter (it was a little also greasy and perchance that fabricated the cheese slide effectually), will utilise large macaroni noodles, and melt the cheese with the milk mixture before adding to the mac.
xi/02/2010
Very easy to brand
07/fifteen/2010
Great base recipe to edit to your ain tastes. I contradistinct the recipe a fleck to work with the ingredients I had on hand. I used 12 oz whole wheat Pasta Penne cooked v mins (don't cook information technology all the way). I used i can (12 oz) evaporated milk plus four oz ii% milk. To the milk/egg mix I added ii TBSP of flour and 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese. I used a mixture of xanthous and white shredded cheese that totaled nearly three cups. I mixed one-half of this in with the milk/egg mix likewise. I then folded my cooked pasta to the egg/milk/cheese mix and poured that into greased baking dish. I sprinkled remaining shredded cheese over the meridian of this and baked. Came out VERY cheesy and good. My alterations non for the faint of cheese! Information technology was non watery at all either.
10/26/2009
I really enjoyed the taste. I added cheese and then breadcrubms to the superlative. Information technology did come out kind of curdled though..tin anyone assistance me with that?
ten/26/2005
I followed the directions exactly and for some reason the macaroni on the top and edges of the recipe turned out hard and impossible to chew. I'one thousand certain I followed the training of the pasta correctly before information technology was placed in the oven and so I can't see how information technology went wrong. The center of the recipe turned out flavorful plenty but I wasn't happy with the consistency of it. I can't tell if I simply screwed the recipe up somehow or if it only wasn't a good recipe. I volition endeavour again.
01/08/2007
I did every bit the recipe stated, except I covered the dish for the starting time 20 minutes (other reviews said it would get hard on top). I stirred while it was blistering too! BUT, no one cared for it, very bland. I even used more cheese than was called for. Sorry.....
01/eighteen/2003
I Accept Fabricated THIS OVER AND OVER Again. EVERYBODY IN MY FAMILY LOVES THIS RECIPE. We Swallow IT As A MAIN DISH. WHO NEEDS MEAT WHEN YOU Take ALL THAT MACARONI!
05/xviii/2006
This recipe has become my favorite version of homemade mac n' cheese. I do, however, cook the noodles until they're al dente, and use less milk. I as well stir a few times while it's blistering to distribute everything evenly.
eleven/27/2010
I used the option to calculate for 6 servings...there were WAY too many noodles. I discarded nearly half, and and then information technology barely fit into 9x13 pan. I opted to utilise a tad bit more butter and increased the cheese by 2 cups so the texture was dainty and it was cheesy enough. Good taste...not watery at all like I thought it might exist. I'd use this recipe again.
03/16/2011
This dish was also dry, mealy tasting and did not similar staff of life crumbs on top.
11/28/2003
Bland yes. Didn't receive rave reviews like I practise when I don't use a recipe (memory and heart-balling ingredients). But I like it, just add some salt and more abrupt cheddar and it's bully. When baking macaroni and cheese I advise always using abrupt cheddar.
07/22/2012
Important!! This needs ii eggs, not one!! Otherwise information technology will exist watery or crumbly similar cottage cheese. I added actress cheese because I love cheese and I also added mushrooms (for vitamin D) and chicken (for protein). I ended up talking to a homeless human being. Come to find out he's a disabled veteran. I made this because information technology's filling and my husband and I had dinner with him. Nosotros all loved it. My husband said "it's similar eating gilt!" and he scraped the dish make clean. I was looking for a filling, delicious dish and this really striking the spot.
12/11/2014
I really like this recipe and I've been fixing it for about 55 years. It'due south better than some of the recipes that have a flour base of operations. This recipe does not set up like concrete the next day. I follow the directions as printed but always add a pitch of red pepper flakes, non plenty to make it too spicy merely just a "nip" also a small compression of nutmeg. If I have some chips in the pantry, normally exercise crusade no one finishes of the crumbs in the bottom of the bag, I use these for a topping. Also, I virtually alway vary my cheeses, matter of fact I unremarkably make this dish when I have several cheeses in the refrigerator, not enough of one to really make anything so I just shred them upward and utilize them. I remember my favorite one time was Fontina, Cheddar and a scrap of Gorgonzola. I likewise add a lot of pepper to my Mac & Cheese.
03/27/2011
This is a wonderful dish I used costa pasta instead of macaroni and it tasted good I recommend to anybody. I'm 17 years erstwhile I would what is good food.
08/01/2010
I besides made this recipe. I added more cheese, i similar my mac& cheese cheeesy:) also i covered my pan and then uncovered information technology for the last few mins to brown the top a little.
01/09/2011
Boil macaroni only 5 minutes, it's going in the oven. Add to macaroni: milk, eggs, seasoning table salt, and a whole lotta cheese! Delight practise not concur dorsum on the cheese!!! Velveeta at the top- dark-brown that height in the oven.
xi/25/2004
This recipe flopped in my family. I had to add together more cheese later on I took it out of the oven. It wasnt cheesy plenty by far and too dry from the commencement. It was very bland and anyone trying information technology should spice it up. I wasn't able to salvage this recipe.
01/05/2003
I make this recipe just about weekly. I'm in college, so this is a perfect recipe for me--Cheap ingredients and it's quick and piece of cake. Also, it reheats so so so well. I make it monday and cease the leftovers Thursday lots of times, and it's still simply as good. My family unit loved it too! My all time favorite!
08/25/2014
This was my 1st Mac & Cheese from scratch and it was delicious. Two things stood out about the recipe that you take to be conscious of: salt and pepper ( to piffling and it could turn out bland), and cooking time ( took near 50-55 mins for the top to brown). I did modify one thing from the original recipes, I used a three cheese combination instead of sharp.
07/24/2006
very good basic mac & cheese recipe, although it feeds way more than than three people. i halved the recipe and that fed nigh five every bit a side dish. i do recommend using more than cheese, though. i used near 2.5c and that'due south making half of the recipe. i also added seasoned salt instead of regular salt with the pepper. it turned out pretty well. thank you for sharing.
05/22/2003
This recipe is wonderful! I take been looking for a good broiled mac & cheese recipe for a while and I take finally found it. The only thing I would similar to add, and only because I have read all the other reviews on this recipe, is this...If you are looking for a creamy mac & cheese, you exercise not want to go with a baked recipe. Creamy mac & cheese is much ameliorate if y'all do it on the stovetop. Baking it doesn't make it creamy. Splendid recipe!
11/19/2011
I'm just starting cooking and i plant this very unproblematic and tasty :) my family unit wasn't as proud as I was only hey, everyone's a critic nowadays.
x/22/2007
This is a very easy recipe, but nothing fantastic. I followed the recipe exactly. Information technology needs more cheese and more than flavor. My hubby and I both had to salt ours because in that location wasn't a lot of flavor. I might try it next time with dissimilar cheeses as well. The noodles on elevation become really difficult. I didn't mind, only my son hated that. I might sprinkle some cheese on the height before putting it in the oven to help prevent that. This is a good basic recipe that can work with modifications.
02/14/2011
I thought this was a great base recipe. I used a pepper jack /cheddar/Mozz combo. I had a few open numberless of cheese on hand. We tend to like our mac 'north cheese spicy. I e'er do a buttered italian breadstuff crumb topping.
11/27/2002
If you grate the cheese finely the mixture will go inside the noodles! I used old cheddar. Yummy!!
11/28/2010
This is a bully way to become young kids turned on to cooking... very easy, and no sauce to mess with. I do agree with some of the other reivews though. Add together A LOT more cheese. (personal preference) Also, stir it half way through to keep the noodles moist. And finally, add shredded cheese to the summit about half way through and so bake for the last few minutes simply to chocolate-brown the elevation. I considered adding my personal favorite breadstuff crumbs, but I'll save that for side by side time when my daughter makes this.
09/02/2008
I added ground beef, onion and bacon, and used extra old cheese, and so it would have more flavour. I enjoyed it though, as did my family. I also spiced information technology up with some chilli powder, cayenne, hot sauce, and lots of black pepper, simply we like our meals SPICY I will definately brand this again
01/01/2010
Put a layer of Lays Potato Chips on the very tops and information technology is perfect!!
ten/31/2010
Nosotros keep using this recipe over & over & over again!!! Dearest it!!!
08/01/2006
Finally I found the basic macaroni and cheese recipe like my female parent made - broiled! It was peachy - only like others posted, next time I'thousand using WAY more cheese.
11/29/2011
This is a favorite at my business firm, I love this recipe. I use white american cheese and less milk and my family dear information technology. You lot volition not be disappointed
ten/03/2006
This was a OK recipe, I don't remember its skilful to make for large group.
03/24/2013
The appearance is non appetite appeasing... Information technology turned out lumpy and curdly. The taste was not too bad. I did add together more cheese though...
08/13/2006
My girl made this for her younger siblings who are usually mac and cheese lovers. They didn't end their helpings, and I would concord that this was a little banal and not very creamy.
09/01/2010
I'm sorry, I hate to give anyone a bad review. But I fabricated this exactly every bit directed. As others said: The pasta on tiptop cooked to a dry hard layer, no nice browning. The cheese was non nearly enough. I did non care for this mac and cheese recipe.
02/03/2004
I made this recipe twice, and both times information technology came out with a curd-similar substance between the noodles. Others complained about `bits of egg' and clumpiness and I agree. Both times I gradually warmed the egg mixture with warm milk as I went. The curds adult in the baking procedure. Very odd. Otherwise, it's a pretty good recipe, very simple. Definitely better the adjacent day. I'll endeavor without egg adjacent time.
10/03/2010
Let information technology sit for 15 minutes before excavation in, and it will not be runny.
04/24/2012
Didn't relish this Mac n cheese..the tiptop was Actually crunchy and the within was dry and non cheesy..will not make this again..
02/25/2006
For those who might be alarmed by the comments well-nigh clumpy cheese, don't be. I experienced clumpyness, but that sorted itself out in the over. I made some minor adjustments - a pinch of rosemary and basil, replaced 1-loving cup of milk with 1-cup of light cream and omitted the butter - as I wanted to brand the recipe my ain. I served the macaroni and cheese along side a simple rocket salad and my Dutch husband had nothing but praise. I will definitely make this again.
07/09/2008
I didn't really care for this. I followed the recipe exactly but I think information technology was too dry. It wasn't very creamy or cheesy which is what I was craving.
x/24/2010
This was delicious! My entire family gobbled information technology up.
12/19/2008
Layer, layer, layer...oh, and melt the cheese in the milk mixture. Put a layer of macaroni in your dish, pour the milk mixture over that, season (if desired), and then sprinkle some shreaded cheese on top of that....repeat. This will give you a milkier, cheesier issue, with more flavor. As 1 other reviewer mentioned however, this is non the super creamy cheesy macaroni recipe. It is the erstwhile school comfort version....and information technology is yummy!!
09/28/2007
i used this for a altogether political party. there were mixed reveiws. overall i think mostly everyone enjoyed information technology.
09/18/2001
Dandy recipe!!! I made a few changes though, simplifying the recipe. I used uncooked macaroni and increased the milk to 2&1/two cups. I also added breadcrumbs to the top, stirred half manner through, and added more breadcrumbs to the top. Turned out beautifully! My husband even had thirds!!!
11/06/2005
This macaroni and cheese is succulent! I used iii 1/2 cups of cheese instead of 2 1/ii. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I used whole milk and baked for 40 minutes. It turned out perfect!! My kids loved it and asked for seconds. Highly recommended.
07/05/2012
Great recipe! Very easy to make. Cheesy. I took another reviewers advise and layered the macaroni, then the cheese and poured the milk/egg/butter mixture on the top. It was a hit!
02/05/2011
This recipe was different but very expert. Volition make again no doubt. And so piece of cake. thanks
06/19/2001
My swain and toddler love this recipe!!! I only added breadstuff crumbs to the superlative and go far near twice a month at present! Thanks for your wonderful recipe......Jill Fonua
ten/20/2014
I made this one merely added a piddling extra cheese on top and put some sausage inside. Cooked information technology for about 25 minutes and used garlic common salt instead of regular salt just still put in some pepper. Turned out delicious!
07/08/2008
So easy then delicious. My roommate and I make this any time we need some crawly comfort food. Dear!
07/04/2006
Reading the reviews helped to make this a four star recipe for me. I added red pepper flakes similar I experienced with the Bahamian version of this recipe, garlic powder and plenty of salt and pepper. To combat clumps, I cooked v minutes, stirred, cooked 5 more minutes and stirred again, then covered it and cooked for 30 minutes, taking off the foil for the final 10 minutes. It looked perfect and my guests ate every last fleck.
02/11/2005
This recipe is fast and like shooting fish in a barrel, notwithstanding it needs some adjustments: more cheese, i-1/2 tsp common salt, 1 tsp pepper, and, if y'all have a spicy palate, hot pepper sauce, cayenne and/or paprika. As well, may top it with parmesan cheese before baking. A concluding piece of communication: to arrive a full meal, stir browned ground beef, franks or bacon bits in the mac and cheese mixture before it goes in the oven.
03/04/2003
This was quite tasty, notwithstanding it wasn't the rich creamy macaroni and cheese that I was looking for. A much dryer version.
09/16/2006
Hmmm.. This didn't come out good at all. Clumpy and the consistency wasn't what I was looking for. Mine didn't turn out like the picture at all and I followed the recipe to a T. There are better mac and cheese recipes out at that place. I retrieve perhaps the extra steps/ingredients in other recipes is worth it. Thank you anyway, it was worth a endeavor.
08/23/2011
very proficient, simply a little college in fat / calories than I would prefer
03/28/2006
By making a few adjustments to this recipe it turned out to be a hit with my family. First, I added more than cheese (about 1 cup more), milk ,south&p, and then I added the cheese mixture to the hot pasta to avoid whatever clumps. The effect: a cheesy, creamy dish that we absolutely loved!!
09/01/2004
I covered the dish with aluminum foil for the first thirty minutes of cooking, and I followed the suggestion of a previous reviewer and added a pinch of cayenne pepper and a dash of cajun seasoning to the cheese mixture. I was kind of scared considering when I poured the cheese mixture in with the pasta, it didn't seem to be mixing quite right, but the end upshot was wonderful. I recall it might have been too dry if I didn't cover information technology, but it turned out great, and the spices gave information technology simply the right amount of flavor without overpowering the dish. I would definitely make this again.
03/25/2006
This was very skilful. It is much better the next mean solar day. I added an extra cup of cheese, used whole milk, and baked covered and removed cover the last five minutes. It was very creamy. I made this equally a side dish at Thanksgiving for the grandkids and the whole family loved information technology!
02/05/2007
